Alex McGarry is a professional artist best known for her realistic paintings of British wildlife and birds.

Alex was just nine years old when she begged her Dad, (internationally recognised wildlife artist Pip McGarry) for some oil paints and brushes so she could be a ‘proper artist’. He provided Alex with all the materials and the first Alex McGarry was completed - a painting of a baby deer.

At sixteen Alex joined her local art societies and started exhibiting her work. With no formal art training Alex has allowed her style to evolve organically and has developed her techniques within her own style.
